Computer Applications Management Pty. Limited was established by Dr. Whitehouse in 1981 to provide computer consulting, research and software development services. The company was registered in Victoria on 25 June, 1981.

Dr. Whitehouse is an experienced computer professional. He holds a bachelor of Science degree from the University of Queensland majoring in physics and mathemetics, and a Doctorate in Computer Science from Monash University, based on research into compiling techniques for higher level programming languages. He is a member of the Australian Computer Society and is an Associate of the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia.

Work is undertaken in three broad categories:

• Computer Consulting

  Consulting projects usually involve an investigation of some aspect of government, business or technology, collection and analysis of results, and the production of a comprehensive report of recommendations. Such projects include Strategic Planning, Request for Proposals, Training Needs, Tender Evaluation, Knowledge Management, Technical Specifications and Disaster Recovery Planning. (Details)

  Software development projects usually commence with an investigation of user requirements and proceed to design, implementation, documentation, user training, on-going support and maintenance. Most modern projects include database design, conversion of data from legacy systems, integrated help and web facilities. Developed projects include management, accounting, auditing, event/conference, production control, scientific and medical applications with emphasis on fully integrated systems accessed via networked PCs and the internet.   Dr. Whitehouse works with Solicitors as an expert Witness in matters of Computer Litigation and has acted as a Special Referree to the Supreme Court of Victoria in the determination of techmical questions before the Court. He is a qualified mediator with the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia, specializing in computer related matters. (Details)
